Who is qualified to take the PUP College Entrance Test (PUPCET)?
Qualification for the PUP College Entrance Test (PUPCET) College freshmen must be able to present a certificate of completion. Students who apply must be in senior high school (SHS). Applicants are required to submit a completed form as part of the application process. Have you finished SHS yet? We can only accept applications from SHS graduates. Where do I apply? All PUPCET applicants must apply online using PUP iApply (read step-by-step procedure) An applicant is allowed to apply and take the PUPCET in only one (1) PUP branch or campus, and only once academic year Multiple applications will make the applicant's PUPCET result null and void. Qualified individuals are eligible for admission: The DepEd K–12 program is currently enrolling students, and they should advance to junior high school (lab high school). Students who advance to junior high (lab high school) may gain admission to Polytechnic University. The Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Laboratory High School (PUPLHS), may admit students. The following are the admission policies at PUPLHS. The PUPLHS shall not deny admission to any student based on age, sex, nationality, religious belief, ethnicity, or political affiliation. Transfers are not accepted at all levels. Applicants seeking admission must comply with the general, specific, and grade requirements. Qualified applicants receive admission to PUPLHS on the condition that they and their parents or guardians agree to abide by the school's rules and regulations. PUPLHS operates on a first-come, first-served basis and is subject to slot availability. General Requirements: Grades from Grade 6 (First and Second Quarter) Grade Requirements: English, math, and science must be 85% and above. The average for each quarter must be 85% and above. Transferee Student (PUP - Sta. Mesa Manila)
Transferee Student Qualifications: Applicants must submit an original transcript of records in person to the Office of Admission and Registration located at W-117, PUP Main Building. Qualifications: Must be incoming second year only Must have completed two semesters (for semestral) or three semesters (for trimestral) in any four- or five-year degree program in any CHED-accredited college or university. With a general weighted average of 2.00 and above With no failing grade, dropped, withdrawn, or incomplete grades. Transferring within the PUP System Depending on slot availability, the PUP system may admit a student transferring from one PUP branch or campus to another. Transferring from another School The university president or his duly authorized representative may approve the admission of a student seeking transfer from another school or university to PUP, subject to slot availability.

Make sure to follow the online application photo requirements carefully When you complete your online application, you must upload an ID photo to the iApply system in order to confirm the legitimacy of your application test permit. We advise you to have your ID photo ready before applying online to make the process simple and hassle-free. Required Photo A 2 x 2 inch, colored photo with a white background A formal pose with a collar and no eyeglasses or other accessories that may cover the facial features Photos taken in the past seven (7) days prior to filing the online application This format includes a complete, readable name tag: The first name, middle name, and last name should be positioned at the chest as indicated in your NSO copy of the birth certificate. Acceptable Photo samples One line name tag only Unacceptable photos: Name tag with an abbreviated name or initials Blurred photos Wacky/non-formal shot Group shot Landscape, scenery, animals, material objects, body parts, memes Required File Format Your ID photo must be saved as a JPEG file format (.jpg or.jpeg).
