Who is eligible for the Student Assistantship Program?
Any enrolled regular student at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) who has completed at least one year of residency is eligible to apply.

What is the purpose of the Student Assistantship Program
The program provides a scholarship through service compensation, allowing students to render administrative services to various academic, non-academic, and administrative units of the PUP System.

How do I apply for the Student Assistantship Program
Endorsement /Application Form Attached: The form is available for editing, completion, and printing. The Office of Scholarship and Financial Assistance processes applications. The process starts upon the release of the registration card for the current semester and continues until the application deadline set by the Director of OSFA

What are the qualifications required for the Student Assistant position?
Applicants must be college students with regular status, have completed at least one year of academic residency, maintain a GWA of at least 2.50, and not hold any other government or private scholarship.

What documents do I need to submit for my application?
Applicants must submit duplicate copies of their Certificate of Registration (COR), previous semester's grades, Student Assistantship Endorsement Form (SFAS-F6-2018 Form), and Personal Data Sheet (PDS).

What is the work schedule for student assistants?
Only during vacant periods should a student assistant create work schedules for student assistants, allowing a maximum of 100 hours of work per month. Tasks assigned must be office-related.

What is the salary for a student assistant?
Student assistants will be paid ₱25.00 for each hour of service rendered.

How do I receive my payment as a student assistant?
Student assistants must submit two copies of the Daily Time Record (DTR) to the Office of Scholarship and Financial Assistance (OSFA) for processing. Payments will be released via the Landbank ATM card.

Do I need to have a Landbank account to receive payments?
Yes, student assistants are required to enroll in a savings or payroll account at the nearest Landbank branch and provide their account number to OSFA.

Can I renew my position as a student assistant for multiple semesters?
Yes, a student assistant's tenure is valid for one semester and is subject to renewal based on the university's needs, provided that the student assistant receives a proper recommendation from the head of the academic or administrative offices.
