UL: Is the library open on Sunday?

UL: What are the requirements for borrowing a books?
You need to have the following requirements in order to borrow a book: Library Account Certificate of Registration Borrower’s card Steps to follow when borrowing a book online: Patrons can request to borrow books and other reference materials online and check them out from the NALLRC. When requested, PUP faculty, staff, and students can borrow and check out books and other reference materials online. To place a request, search the library's Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) for library materials. to do this, use your PUP Library account. You may request up to five (5) items for faculty, administrative employees, and officials. Three (3) books for students at one time. Once your items are ready, you will receive an email at your PUP Webmail address instructing you to use an online calendar to schedule a checkout date and time, as well as details on how to collect your items. The library staff will check out your books and place them in a paper bag to minimize contact. Each library location will have a takeout approach that involves minimal contact between you and the library staff. Don’t forget to bring your PUP ID card to your scheduled checkout appointment and follow safety and health measures.

UL: How much is the fine for keeping the book past due?
If a book is not returned by the due date, there will be a fine of PHP100.00 per day.

UL: Can I make a request to pick up a physical book?
Users must observe the library's circulation policy at all times. The book(s) (and/or other material(s)) requested will be ready after two working days (provided the material(s) requested are on shelves) from the date of the request. Once the material(s) is ready for pickup, we will notify you via text message, phone call, or email. We will safely pack all requested materials and have them ready for pick-up at the 3rd Floor Lobby of the NALLRC Building.

UL: Are the books on the OPAC site available online?
A bibliographical description of the book can be accessed via the OPAC site. However, the library is currently provides scanning services to meet our patrons' information needs.

The PUP library does not sell books.
