Junior High School (Laboratory)Admissions

Qualified individuals are eligible for admission:

The DepEd K–12 program is currently enrolling students, and they should advance to

junior high school (lab high school).

Students who advance to junior high (lab high school) may gain admission to Polytechnic University. The Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Laboratory High School (PUPLHS), may admit students.

The following are the admission policies at PUPLHS.

  • The PUPLHS shall not deny admission to any student based on age, sex, nationality, religious belief, ethnicity, or political affiliation. Transfers are not accepted at all levels.

  • Applicants seeking admission must comply with the general, specific, and grade requirements.

  • Qualified applicants receive admission to PUPLHS on the condition that they and their parents or guardians agree to abide by the school's rules and regulations.

  • PUPLHS operates on a first-come, first-served basis and is subject to slot availability.

General Requirements:

Grades from Grade 6 (First and Second Quarter)

Grade Requirements:

  • English, math, and science must be 85% and above.

  • The average for each quarter must be 85% and above.

  • In other subjects, no grade below 82%

Specific requirements for qualified applicants:

Please prepare the following documents before your scheduled date of enrollment:

  1. Learner's Reference Number (LRN)

  2. A completed student profile sheet

  3. Original Elementary SF-9 (formerly F-138 or Report Card)

  4. Original Elementary SF-10 (formerly F137-A)

  5. Certificate of Good Moral Character

  6. The original PSA/NSO birth certificate

  7. Health Information Sheet for Students

  8. Two (2) . 2x2 inch. photos on a white background with a nameplate

  9. One (1) PC Long brown envelope

For Online Registration

Please make sure you have the following documents ready for uploading during your online registration:

  • Scanned photo of the applicant (JPEG file; read photo guidelines)

  • Scanned Grade 6 Report Card (JPEG file with complete entries in all subjects, including average in 1st and 2nd grading periods, must bear the signature or e-signature of the class adviser)

  • Report cards must clearly show the applicant's complete name, LRN, and grades in English, Math, Science, and General Average per Quarter.

  • Each JPEG file size must not be more than 300 kilobytes (KB).

  • The applicant's email address is active and correct.
