What is the term “shortlisted” in applying for a scholarship?
Shortlisted is the list of qualified students that will face the second part of the scholarship evaluation and may be endorsed for the final interview.

What are the qualifications for a Resident Scholarship? What are we going to receive?
President’s Listers must have a GWA of at least 1.5, while Dean’s Listers must have a GWA of at least 1.75. No grade shall be below 2.5, and no INC, F, or D grade. The top 10% in the ranking of President’s Listers will receive P1,000.00, and all resident scholars will receive certificates signed by the president.

Who can apply for entrance scholarships?
Entrance scholarships are awarded to senior high school graduates who did not pass the PUPCET but qualified because they graduated with high honors, as well as those who are certified student athletes, creative media artists, campus journalists, and cultural artists. The number of slots is determined by the admissions officer during the enrollment period.

Who can apply for the student assistantship program?
Applicants must have at least one-year residency, with passing grades in the last enrolled semester, pass the psychological exam and endorsed by the requesting office. Requirements: 1. How do I receive the allowance from the scholarship program?
There are grantors who do the releasing of allowance, but there are grantors who let the school process the release of allowance. The university releases the allowance through a Landbank ATM.

How can I determine if my scholarship application has been approved?
OSFA will post an announcement regarding the status of applications and approvals on the Facebook page of Scholarship and Financial Assistance Services (PUP Manila). The staff will also create a group chat in Messenger for approved applicants in order to provide further instruction on the next steps.

What are the requirements and steps if I want to be a sponsor of a scholarship program?
Submit letter of intent addressed to: ANA LIZA R. PUBLICO Chief Scholarship and Financial Assistance Services The draft MOA will be provided for review of both the aspiring sponsor and PUP. Once the MOA has been approved, the financial obligation must be settled and the announcement for the opening of application will be posted.

How do I apply for CHED Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES)?
The Scholarship and Financial Assistance Services at PUP Manila post the link for online applications for CHED TES on their Facebook page for PUP Main Campus. CHED determines the prescribed period of application. The Scholarship Coordinator handles applications for branches and campuses.

How do I apply for the CHED "Tulong Dunong" Program (TDP)?
The OSFA does not endorse applications for CHED TDP; it only receives a list of approved grantees from CHED and processes the request for grant release once the funds have been transferred to PUP.
