Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM)

Tourism is global. Studying this program opens up endless opportunities for employment and career advancement. We designed the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) curriculum to provide a deeper understanding of tourism as an activity, the organization and development of the tourism industry, its influence on local and global society, and the impact of contemporary issues on the industry and its stakeholders. It also integrates dynamic changes and strategic development within the industry.

As globalization and technological advancement continue to shape policies, business practices, and consumer behavior in the tourism and hospitality industries, the need to enhance skills becomes increasingly dynamic and professionally compelling.

In response, the Polytechnic University of the Philippines' curricular revision consistently establishes the BS in Tourism Management program to ensure true impact and greater sustainability through long-term engagement with supporting partnerships, thereby equipping students for a future characterized by the VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous) environment. Similarly, the revision pledges to enhance the university's current performance rating as it strives to gain recognition as a National Polytechnic University.
